Oh William.

"Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." -William Shakespeare

Take A Walk // Passion Pit

Shakespeare is my life. I love him. I read his works probably more than the average stable minded person should, but I don't care.
This quote. "Be not afraid..... Of greatness."
Who would be afraid of a thing as greatness? I am. I am afraid. I want to accomplish world changing things. I want be extraordinary, but unfortunately, I'm not cut out for that job. My job is to be a student. At a high school. And work hard so I can get to college. What if we limit ourselves? We are the next generation.
WE ARE LIMITLESS. Why aren't we living like it? We have technology to discover. Excuse. We have school and studying and tests!. Excuse. We have "problems" in our lives. Excuse. We have run out of excuses. There's no reason for this nonsense anymore. I strive for greatness. I want to be great. I want to be the guy that at the end of the war, I'm standing on the hill waving the flag of my generation proudly for everyone to see. But now? I want to hide it in a tree. But hope is not lost. Not even close. My favorite preacher once said, "As long as there's breath, there's hope." Hope was at the bottom of Pandora's box. Hope is never lost, sometimes we just lose it in the fog sometimes.
